Oklahoma Circa 1994?

In the "I can't believe I did that category" I convinced my wife and family to load up in my broken down old van and travel from Reno to Texas and Oklahoma! I am not sure how this didn't end up to be a Donner Party ending as we traveled through snow and ice storms all the way. I look back and know how much God was watching over us as a loving father would yet still taking an opportunity to humble me as I paid $115 dollars for a gallon of gas after we ran out in the middle of Arizona somewhere...

I think it's the only time Mom and Clyde ever got to meet the children.

Still Looking Back...

While looking for a favorite picture of Cam (tiny baby sleeping in a coat - if anybody has a copy please send me one!), I ran across this one. It reminds me of all the fun we used to have even when it was time to take a bath . Isn't that cute, she's hugging sis...no wait maybe she's trying to choke her!

Popo's Are Very Comfy...

Of all the things that Popo's do, snuggling my children's children is the best!

No Fear!

Some kids are fearless - such is the case with our Grandaughter Avery...

Looking Back...

I have not often looked back in my life. Some things are best not remembered. I'm discovering though that the walls I've built around a painful part of my life has also kept me from remembering some pure joy... Ari asked me to help her put together a scrapbook of her mommy and daddy...here is one of her mommy at her first birthday.
I think it's time to remember...
